This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Sovchi.app ("Sovchi.app", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what control you have over it. It applies to our mobile application, our Telegram bot and this website.
By creating an account you confirm that you have read this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the service.

2. Who may use Sovchi.app
Sovchi.app is intended solely for adults who are legally able to marry and who join with the serious intention of building a family. The service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we delete that account and its data.
3. What data we collect
Data you give us
- Account data — phone number, name or nickname, date of birth or age, gender.
- Profile data — region or city, marital status, education, occupation, a short description of yourself and what you are looking for in a spouse, and the photographs you upload.
- Compatibility questionnaire — your answers about values, character, family views and intentions. These answers are the basis of our matching recommendations.
- Face verification — if you choose to get the verified badge, a selfie or short video used to confirm that you are a real person and that your profile photo is genuinely yours.
- Communications — messages you send through the platform, and anything you send us by email, phone, Telegram or the contact form on this website.
- Reports — information you submit when you report or block another user.
Data collected automatically
- Device and technical data — device model, operating system, app version, language, and IP address.
- Usage data — features you use, profiles you view, likes you send, and approximate session timing. We use this to operate and improve the service and to detect abuse.
- Approximate location — derived from the region you select or from your device, where you allow it, so that we can suggest candidates near you. We do not publish your precise location to other users.
- Website analytics — this website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser and processes your IP address.
4. How we use your data
- To make matches. Our algorithm compares psychological compatibility, values and life goals, along with geographic proximity and mutual interest, to recommend candidates. A conversation only opens when both people have expressed interest.
- To verify identity. Face verification and profile checks help ensure that the person you are talking to is real and that photos are authentic.
- To keep the platform safe. Automated moderation reviews messages and content for harassment, obscenity, fraud and advertising, and we act on user reports. Accounts that break the rules are restricted or removed.
- To provide support and to answer questions you send us.
- To operate and improve the service — fixing errors, measuring performance and developing new features.
- To meet legal obligations under the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
We do not use your personal data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.
5. Meta platform data (Instagram and Facebook)
Sovchi.app maintains official pages on Instagram and Facebook and uses Meta's APIs to manage that presence. Data accessed through those APIs is used only to operate our own accounts and to answer messages and comments people send us there.
- We do not use Meta platform data to build or enrich user profiles inside the app.
- We do not sell Meta platform data or transfer it to data brokers, ad networks or any other third party for their own purposes.
- If you contact us through Instagram or Facebook, we process the content of that conversation solely to reply to you, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
- If a future version of the app lets you voluntarily connect a Meta account, we will only request the permissions needed for the feature you chose, will tell you what is accessed before you agree, and you will be able to disconnect it at any time.
Our use of information received from Meta APIs follows the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
6. What other users can see
Other users see the profile you build: your photos, your first name or nickname, your age, your general region, and the profile details you filled in. They can see whether you carry the verification badge. They cannot see your phone number, your email address, your precise location, your questionnaire answers or any document you submitted for verification.
7. Sharing your data
We share personal data only in these situations:
- Service providers who work on our behalf — hosting, cloud storage, messaging delivery, analytics and identity verification. They may process your data only on our instructions and only to provide the service to us.
- Legal requirements — when we must disclose data to comply with a law, a court order or a lawful request from a competent authority of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Safety — when disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud or abuse, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
- Business transfer — if the service is ever transferred to another entity, your data may move with it. We will notify you before that happens and this policy will continue to apply until you are told otherwise.
We never sell your personal data and we never rent it for advertising.
8. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, photos and questionnaire answers from the service. Some records may be retained for a limited period afterwards where this is technically necessary (for example, backup copies that expire on a rolling schedule) or where the law requires us to keep them — for instance, records of abuse reports kept to prevent a banned user from returning.
9. Your rights and choices
- Access — ask us what personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — edit your profile at any time in the app, or ask us to correct data you cannot change yourself.
- Deletion — delete your account and the personal data connected to it (see the next section).
- Withdraw consent — turn off optional permissions, such as location, in your device settings; where processing was based on your consent, withdrawing it stops future processing.
- Object or complain — write to us at sovchiap@gmail.com if you believe your data has been handled improperly.
We answer requests about personal data within 30 days.
10. How to delete your data
In the app: open your profile, go to Settings, and choose to delete your account. Your profile, photos and questionnaire answers are removed from the service.
By email: send a request from the email address or phone number linked to your account to sovchiap@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion". We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm it to you.
Meta-connected data: if you ever connected an Instagram or Facebook account to Sovchi.app, you can remove our access from that platform's own app settings, and you can email us at the address above to have any data we received through it deleted.
11. Security
Personal data is stored on secured servers, transmitted over encrypted connections, and accessible only to the limited number of people who need it to operate the service. Access to verification material is restricted further. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask you to protect your own account as well: keep your login, password and PIN confidential and do not share them with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
12. International transfers
Sovchi.app is operated from Uzbekistan and serves users primarily in Uzbekistan. Some of our service providers may process data on servers located in other countries. When that happens, we require them to protect your data to a standard consistent with this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service develops or as the law changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle your personal data, we will notify you in the app or by the contact details linked to your account before it takes effect.
14. Contact us
Questions, requests and complaints about privacy can be sent to sovchiap@gmail.com or +998 (77) 411-00-10. We are also reachable on Telegram at @sovchiapp.
